Now that Thanksgiving is just around the corner I've started to get serious about preparations for the day. This year we're having the whole family over to our house. There will be 16 of us (including kids) and today I'm taking inventory to see what I'm missing so I have time to order it online.
Chef's Catalog is having an amazing sale right now - from steak knives to espresson machines. I'm going to pick up a new double boiler so I can make my grandmother's special cream sauce.
Who says nothing is free anymore? I found a
free turkey from Safeway (hurry - this offer ends tomorrow) and
1-800-FLOWERS is offering a free upgrade on floral centerpieces. Looks like I'm well on my way to a beautiful table already and I haven't even left the house yet!
